Betws-y-coed is an immensely popular tourist destination all year round. Known as “The Gateway to Snowdonia” the village has long been a popular base for hill walkers and outdoor enthusiasts, with it’s plethora of hotels, guest houses, eateries and independent shops.

With it’s central Conwy Valley location, Betws-y-coed has recently become more popular with a new kind of adventure seeker with the advent of North Wales’ new status as the adventure capital of Great Britain. Popular attractions such as the the Zip World franchise, Surf Snowdonia, Go Below Adventures and world class mountain bike trails are all within easy reach of the village.

In and around the village of Betws-y-coed itself there are many popular walks, and of course the famous Swallow Falls.
